Integrations let you pull data from external services into Mentionpath so you can see your web traffic and search performance alongside your AI visibility metrics. Once connected, data from each integration flows into the Traffic dashboard, giving you a unified view of how people find and visit your site — whether through traditional search, direct channels, or AI referrers. Integrations are configured per domain. If you manage multiple domains in Mentionpath, you connect and manage integrations separately for each one.

Available integrations

Google Analytics 4

Bring sessions, users, page views, bounce rate, channel breakdown, and country and device data into Mentionpath. Use the AI traffic filter to isolate visitors arriving from AI platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Google Search Console

Pull clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, top queries, and top pages from Search Console. Understand how your site performs in traditional Google Search to complement your AI visibility data.

Finding your integrations

To view and manage your integrations, go to Account Settings and open the Integrations tab. From there you can connect new integrations, check the status of existing ones, select which properties to use in the Traffic dashboard, and disconnect integrations you no longer need.

Integration statuses

Each integration shows one of the following statuses:
StatusWhat it means
ActiveThe integration is connected and syncing data normally.
DisconnectedThe integration has been manually disconnected. No data is syncing.
ErrorSomething went wrong with the connection or a recent sync. Action is required.
In addition to the overall status, each integration has an auth state that reflects whether your OAuth credentials are valid:
Auth stateWhat it means
ConnectedCredentials are valid and the integration can access your data.
ExpiredThe OAuth token has expired and needs to be refreshed by re-authenticating.
RevokedAccess was revoked (for example, you removed Mentionpath from your Google account permissions). You need to reconnect from scratch.
An integration can show a status of active while its auth state is expired if the expiry happened after the last successful sync. Check both fields when troubleshooting missing data.

What to do when an integration shows an error

If an integration shows an error status or an expired or revoked auth state, open the integration detail in Account Settings > Integrations and follow the prompt to re-authenticate. You’ll go through the OAuth flow again, and once complete Mentionpath will resume syncing from where it left off. If re-authenticating doesn’t resolve the issue, check that:
  • The Google account you’re connecting with still has access to the GA4 property or Search Console property you want to use.
  • You haven’t removed Mentionpath from your Google account’s third-party app permissions.

Integrations are per domain

Each domain you manage in Mentionpath has its own set of integrations. Connecting GA4 or Search Console for one domain does not affect other domains. You can connect multiple GA4 properties or multiple GSC properties to a single domain — the Traffic dashboard lets you switch between them using the property selector.
Data from connected integrations appears in the Traffic dashboard. Use the connector selector in the dashboard filter bar to switch between Google Analytics and Search Console views.
