Mentionpath organizes settings into four categories: your personal account profile, your organization, your domain configuration, and appearance. You access all of these from the Account dialog, which you open by clicking your name or avatar in the top navigation. Integration settings — connecting Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console — are also managed per domain from the same dialog.
Your personal settings control how you appear in the workspace and how you log in.ProfileYou can update your first name and last name at any time. Your name appears in the Team tab so your teammates know who is who in the workspace. To update your name:
  1. Open Account from the top navigation.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Edit your First name and Last name fields.
  4. Click Save.
Email addressYour email address is the one you used to sign up and is used for login, billing communications, and team invitations. To change your email, contact support — email changes require identity verification.PasswordTo change your password, open the Profile tab in the Account dialog and click Change password. Mentionpath sends a password reset link to your registered email address. Follow the link to set a new password.Email preferencesYou can control which email notifications Mentionpath sends you. These preferences are per-user and do not affect other members of your workspace.
Organization settings apply to the entire workspace and are visible to all members. Only owners can edit these settings.Organization nameYour organization name appears in the Account dialog and in billing communications. To rename it:
  1. Open Account from the top navigation.
  2. Go to the General or Organization tab.
  3. Edit the Organization name field.
  4. Click Save.
The organization name is also pre-filled as the company name when you start a Stripe checkout, so keeping it accurate helps with your billing records.
Each domain in your workspace has its own settings that tell Mentionpath how to represent and contextualize your brand. You can manage these from Account > Domains or directly from the domain settings panel.Domain name and URL
  • Name: a friendly label for the domain, shown throughout the Mentionpath interface.
  • URL: the full domain URL (for example, https://example.com). This is used when tracking prompts and running site health audits.
LogoYou can upload a logo for each domain. The logo appears in the interface alongside the domain name. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, and SVG. To upload or replace a logo, open domain settings and click the logo upload area.LanguageSet the primary language of the domain’s content. This informs how Mentionpath interprets your pages and how AI providers may categorize your brand.Location and geographic reach
  • Location / country: the primary country where your business operates. This is used as the default tracking country for new prompts.
  • Geographic reach: whether your business targets a local area, a specific country, or a global audience. This helps Mentionpath prioritize which markets to surface in reporting.
IndustrySelect the industry that best describes your business. Industry context improves the relevance of AI visibility tracking and competitor benchmarking.Business modelSpecify whether you operate as B2B, B2C, or both. This helps Mentionpath understand the nature of your customers and the queries that matter to you.Customer typeDescribe who your customers are — for example, enterprise buyers, SMBs, or individual consumers. This feeds into your Domain DNA and influences how Mentionpath evaluates your brand’s presence in AI responses.
Keeping your domain settings accurate improves the quality of your AI Visibility score and the relevance of prompt suggestions. Revisit these settings whenever your business focus or market changes.
Mentionpath supports light and dark mode. Your theme preference is saved to your account and syncs across devices when you are signed in.To toggle the theme:
  1. Open Account from the top navigation.
  2. Find the Appearance or Theme section.
  3. Click the toggle to switch between Light and Dark mode.
The change applies instantly without reloading the page.
Mentionpath integrates with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console (GSC) on a per-domain basis. Connecting these services lets you see AI-driven traffic and organic search data alongside your AI visibility metrics.Integrations are managed from Account > Integrations (or from the Integrations section within domain settings). Each domain has its own connection status for GA4 and GSC.Connecting GA4
1

Open integrations settings

Open Account, select the domain you want to connect, and navigate to the Integrations tab.
2

Click Connect next to Google Analytics 4

You will be redirected to Google’s OAuth consent screen. Sign in with a Google account that has read access to the GA4 property for this domain.
3

Authorize access

Grant Mentionpath read access to your Analytics data. You are redirected back to Mentionpath once the connection is established.
4

Select your GA4 property

If your Google account has multiple properties, select the one that corresponds to this domain.
Connecting Google Search ConsoleThe GSC connection flow is the same as GA4. Click Connect next to Google Search Console, authorize with a Google account that has access to the GSC property for this domain, and select the correct property.Disconnecting an integrationTo remove a connection, open the Integrations tab for the domain and click Disconnect next to the service you want to remove. Disconnecting does not delete historical data already synced into Mentionpath, but new data will stop flowing in.
Integrations are scoped to individual domains. Connecting GA4 for one domain does not connect it for any other domains in your workspace. Repeat the connection process for each domain you want to integrate.

Adding additional domains

If your plan supports multiple domains (Professional and above), you can add new domains from the domain selector in the main navigation. Click Add domain and follow the onboarding flow to configure your new domain’s details and complete Domain DNA setup.
The Starter plan is limited to 1 domain. If you need to track more than one domain, upgrade to Professional or above from Account > Billing.
